The Anti-Ragging Committee of YSAHS organized a series of competitions and an awareness program to sensitize students about the importance of maintaining a ragging-free and safe campus.
On 9th August 2025, a variety of creative competitions were conducted, including:
- Stage Play (Mime, Dance & Drama)
- Logo Designing
- Face Painting
- Poster Making
- Slogan Writing
On 25th August 2025, the formal Anti-Ragging Awareness Day was observed. The program commenced with student performance acts, followed by the screening of a short video titled "Ragging: A Violation of Rights." The Chief Guest, Dr. Maji Josh, addressed the gathering and shared insights on fostering a supportive campus culture. The Presiding Officer, Ms. Sunita Saldhana, delivered an address highlighting the significance of anti-ragging measures.
The event concluded with the distribution of cash prizes and certificates to the winners of the competitions.
Outcome
The event witnessed enthusiastic student participation across various programs, showcasing creativity and raising awareness about the negative impact of ragging. It successfully reinforced values of respect, unity, and peer support, contributing to a safe and inclusive environment at YSAHS.
